We had an amazing day yesterday during our whole school visit to Auckland Castle. The day consisted of the children having a tour of the castle and seeing all of the wonderful things that they are in the process of completing. The children took part in a range of crafts, had some free time on the bowling field with the beautiful Auckland Castle in the background and finally a whole school challenge with our Year 6 children as team leaders, the teams had to design a castle wall that was strong enough to hold off an attack! The children were well-behaved during the whole day, they had excellent manners and also asked some fantastic questions. The children loved the ice cream van back at school which was a surprise! We want to say a huge thank you to Believe Housing and West Auckland Parish Council for making the whole day possible.
