I joined Copeland Road Primary in 2006 and I am currently the class teacher for Year 6 and subject leader for PE. I am still as passionate about teaching now as I was when I qualified thirteen years ago. I feel privileged that I have the opportunity to see how children can flourish when they are in a safe, caring and challenging environment with an ethos of respect and empathy. Being a governor is an honour as it means being part of the team that drives the school forward. This has been both challenging and rewarding as I feel that it is our duty to raise standards, both in the classroom and the wider school environment. I am enthusiastic and committed to continue supporting Copeland Road Primary School in every way I can.
