Father McTeer is a Co-opted Community Governor of Copeland Road Primary School. He is currently a member of the Curriculum and Behaviour & Safety Committees. Father McTeer is currently the Religious Education & Humanities Governor. He is the St Helen Auckland Parish Priest and he regularly visits the school to carry out assemblies and classroom talks for the pupils. The school visits the church for their annual Christmas and Easter Services which are led by Father McTeer.
