Thank you to all the parents and friends who send in loose change for our Tanzania appeal. We asked children to help fill water bottles with the loose change for our partner school in Tanzania. The water link was used to raise awareness of the importance of clean water. The total raised was £150 and this money was taken to Tanzania in October by Miss Dooley when she went to visit Lyakombila Primary.

Thank you to all the parents and friends that contributed to the Harvest Table. We had a wonderful range of food items on the table and it looked fantastic. The food has all been bagged up and distributed to the local people that were named by families in our school. A bag of food has also been given to the local foodbank. Thank you again for your excellent support.

Thank you to all the parents who attended the Macmillan Coffee Afternoon and donated generously to the charity. Thanks to your donations we were able to send £134 to Macmillan. Thanks again.

Marcus Watson from Sustrans will be in school on Wednesday 24th September to carry out bicycle repairs for any children in school. This is part of our healthy activities work on supporting children with walking and cycling initiatives. If you wish to have your child’s bike checked and repaired please bring it to school through the top gate on Wednesday.
